God called upon Toni Lee Eder, age 32, of Poplar, MT to join her relatives in Heaven on September 17, 2011.
Toni was born May 28, 1979 to Marcella Eder in Poplar. She was the oldest child out of 6 children born to Marcella, and a beautiful blessing for her maternal grandmother Delores Scott and her uncle Mark Eder III.
Toni had many jobs in her lifetime which include working at A&S Tribal Industries, McDonalds, Jungle Gym Daycare, and the FPCC Daycare. The one she enjoyed the most was taking care of children. She never had any children of her own, but she was a 2nd mother and a loving auntie to many. She enjoyed powwows, special occasion, family gatherings, visiting relatives and spreading happiness wherever she went. She met her father Joel Grey Bull when she was 25 years old, and they’ve been close ever since.
Toni is survived by her parents, Marcella and Joel Grey Bull of Poplar; adopted parents, Thomas “Pud” Brown and Darlene Brown; brothers, Brian (Trudy) Eder of Brockton, Milo White Tail of Sisseton, SD, Jared WhiteTail of Poplar; sisters, Tiana (TJ) Eder of Poplar and Jannica WhiteTail of Ft. Totten, ND; nieces, Jasmine, Hally, and Aiyanna Eder, Myana WhiteTail, Tara Red Dog and Tallulah Day; nephews, Brian Eder Jr. and Marquez RedDog; special babies, Summer Drum, Timothy and April Nunn; and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
Toni is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Delores Scott and Mark F. Eder Jr.; aunt, Shannon M. Eder; uncle, Mark F. Eder III; and cousin, April L. Scott.
Toni- you’ve always been our very good friend. Your laughter, smile, and humor is what we’ll miss the most. Love, Auntie Donna & Edwina
Toni was a very loving person with unconditional love for all those who knew her. She will forever be missed, loved, and in our hearts because our world will never be the same without Toni-our sunshine.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Friday, September 23 at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 24 also at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the St. Ann’s Cemetery in Poplar.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
