Valerie White Hawk-BigLeggins, went to be with the creator on Saturday, January 1, 2022 in Poplar, MT. She was born on February 19, 1958 in Poplar, MT to Margaret Snell and Donald BigLeggins.
She enjoyed visiting with friends and family always telling jokes and making everyone laugh. She was a kind loving person she would help the anyone out the best she can. She loved coloring and her word finds and fill-ins. She loved to sit at town pump park and visit everyone and make them all laugh.
She attended schools in Poplar and Frazer. She always loved spending time with her great grandchildren, Kena’Rae, Baby Kenny, Dezaria, Starla, Skyler. She then met Duane White Hawk and had 5 children, Donna (Alfredo) of Wolf Point, Dallas (Andre) of Poplar, Starla, Skyla, and Tosha, and her only son Robert (Jamie) of Poplar and her adopted son, Jerry Rosebluff of Helena. She also raised as her own Miranda, Alexis of Wolf Point and her baby Macey. She had a special friend Mike Magnan, who has been taking care of her since 2015 and was always there for her. She raised her grandchildren, Valerie of Billings, Sunset, Courage, Cherish, Justice, Val’Rae, Isaac, Ja’Fonda, Joshlynn, Justin, Ray-Jay, Tyrae, Shy, Darius, Rhyse, Jorda, Tayton, Taylor, and baby Ryanna, Tru, Eunice, Onyx, Sammy and can’t forget Dann. She is also survived by her sister, Shannon of Billings, Veronica of Wolf Point; brother, Curtis of Poplar; auntie, Rose Morsette and Agnes Ward; and the Bigleggins family of Frazer.
Valerie is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Donald Bigleggins; special friend, Kenny Comeslast; sisters, Brenda, Rhonda, and Davetta; brothers, Percy and Rocky; uncle, John Morsette; and her children, Starla and Tosha; her grandson, James Jackson Jr.; and granddaughter, Roberta Birthmark.
She will be missed by many but never forgotten, we love you mommy. If we forgot anyone, we are sorry.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 11 at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 12 at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at King Memorial Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left using the form below.
