Vern Kenneth Eagleman, Eagleman Warrior stands alone, age 59, took his journey to the Spirit World on August 8 th , 2022.
Vern was born on January 21, 1963 to Melvin Lo Eagleman and Susan Fast Horse. In his teen years, he was adopted by Delberta Seminole-Eagleman.
He attended school in Brockton and Poplar, after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
In his younger years, he enjoyed dancing traditional, playing basketball, hanging with friends and family.
Vern is survived by his long life friend Bernice Martin; his daughters Verna Kaye Akasid, Roxanne “Brent” Eagleman; and his sons, Richard Eagleman, Robert (Vernice) Eder; adopted mother Delbnerta Eagleman; brothers Cody Eagleman, Melvin Eagleman (Ft. Belknap), Jonathon Eagleman (Brockton), David (Felicia) Mathison (Poplar); sisters, Faith (Jason) Birdtail, melberta (Cres) Salono, Clarice Eagleman, and Delvine Eagleman; his grandchildren, Carmen Eagleman, Angel LaRoche, Cameron LaRoche, Mary Martin, Arvee Alcasid.
Vern is proceded in death by his father, Melvin Eagleman, Sr, mother, Susan Fast Horse; his daughters, Suzette Eagleman, and Emily Martin; brothers, John Eagleman, and Richard Ricker.
A wake will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Poplar Cultural Center. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery.
