Vinson Ryan Cooper

May 25, 1993 — May 27, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce that Vinson Ryan Cooper left us too soon to be with the Creator on May 27th, 2024. Vinson, or “Vinnie”, was born to Kimberly Rose Bushman (Shields) on May 25th, 1993 in Helena, MT.

Vinnie was a graduate of Poplar High School and resided in Poplar, Montana. He also resided for a short time in Arizona where he worked for a restoration company and enjoyed his time riding horses and working cattle. Vinnie grew up as the youngest of four siblings and was the prankster of the family. He had a great sense of humor and would always try to make a joke even through the hard times, trying to see the positive in every situation. You could depend on him to be there if you needed a joke, laugh or a little bit of tough love to get you up and going again because he always saw the best in people. Vinnie loved animals, riding horses, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July and he was known for his inventive use of fireworks and always experimenting with something. Vinnie had a big heart, he was kind and funny and was always down to do something to spend time with friends and family. He believed that you make your own family and was considered a brother to many until the day he passed and made friends everywhere that he went.

Vinnie is survived by his mother, Kimberly Bushman (Shields) and husband Ron Bushman, his brothers Michael and Jesse and his sisters Antoinette, Holly, and Glorie. He is also survived by his grandparents Michael Cooper Sr., Jeff & Judi Webster and many extended families that loved him like their own and they include the Frislie Family, Vermae Smith and Family, Allen Buckles, Verlene Denny and grandmother Janice Chapman. He is also survived by his many beloved nieces Natalie Cooper, Alara Cooper, Ryan Beston, Mariah Beston, and Raegan Cooper. Nephews Blake Cooper, Jacob Barton and Callen Cooper. Uncle Les (Faye) Ferguson, Aunt Sharon (Dave) Macheel, aunt Anita and cousins Clarissa, Cassandra, Cody. Also survived by many other cousins and relatives and those he considered family.

Vinnie is preceded in death by his grandmother Joyce Ricker, his grandfather Larry Hamilton including Sandy Hamilton and Dorothy Hamilton. Lois Ann Ferguson, Phyllis Castro and their brothers Gene Ricker, Virgil Ricker and Orville Ricker. He is preceded in death by his aunt Tina Shields and Jolene Shields, cousins Lane and Kristien Ferguson.Vinnie is now reuniting with his friends and other relatives that have made the journey before him.

Please join us to celebrate his life. Funeral services will be held at the Cultural Center in Poplar, Montana on June 12th, 2024 at 11:00am and burial will be immediately after at Chelsea Church.
