Willard Gerald Landsrud, of Wolf Point, died August 13, 2021 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point. The son of Wilhelm and Grace Grandahl Landsrud, Willard was born on December 10, 1932, in Dagmar, Montana.
Willard was an electrician and owner of Landsrud Electric and Trenching in Wolf Point for 48 years. He was very active with the community as a member of the Optimist Club and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Wolf Point Assembly of God Church and served with Gideons International for many years.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force, where he served as a mechanic.
Willard is survived by his wife of nearly 31 years, Lovella Landsrud of Wolf Point; one son, Kenneth Landsrud (Ann) of Wolf Point; three daughters, Connie Doornek of Livingston, Montana, Karen Samuels (Sam) of Marysville, Washingston, and Cynthia Landsrud of Edmonds, Washingston; three stepchildren, Lyndell Cooper of Linn, Missouri, Regina Cooper of Springfield, Missouri, and Waylan Cooper (Shirley) of Russellville, Arkansas; two sisters, Wilma Weaver of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Dorothy Tucker of Townsend, Montana; fifteen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cheryl Conaway; two brothers, Gaylord Landsrud, and Kermit Landsrud; three sisters, Florence Luecke, Alice Madsen, and Viola Russell; and a grandson, Noah Landsrud.
In memory of Willard, donations may be given to Gideons International.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point, Montana. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Assembly of God Church in Wolf Point, Montana. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
