William David Goodtrack, age 35, of Wolf Point, MT went to be with his mother on Friday, September 21, 2012 after a lifelong battle with diabetes.
William was born on June 12, 1977 to Evelyn Littlehead and Francis Goodtrack, Sr. in Wolf Point, MT.
William attended school in Wolf Point and Portland, OR. He received his GED and went on to obtain a trade as a carpenter and as a brick layer. He later attended college at the Fort Peck Community College.
He met his lifelong love, Skye Belgarde in 2007 and from their love two sons were born, Thomas and Steven Goodtrack . He loved them very much.
William also had two sons who he cherished with all his heart, Lucas Hamilton and Branton Frye. He was proud to get to know Lucas and have him in his life before his last days.
Things William enjoyed were hanging out with his boys, fishing, and visiting with friends and family. William loved spending time with his numerous nieces and nephews who he cherished and loved very much. He loved to joke around and spin tall tales. He enjoyed nature and camping. William liked to sit down at the river and walk down memory lane about when he was a kid and all the fish he caught. He had a heart of gold and before he left us he made a point of showing his family and friends the goodness of life.
He is survived by his love, Skye Belgarde of Wolf Point; sons, Lucas Hamilton, Branton Frye, Thomas and Steven Goodtrack of Wolf Point; sisters, Frances (James Combs) Weeks, Olivia (Harris McConnell) Jorgenson, Dyan Jorgenson all of Wolf Point, and Karen Goodtrack of Poplar; brothers, Lionel Weeks, Duane (Nikki) Goodtrack, Francis (Casandra) Goodtrack, Michael (Katelynn) Vandall all of Wolf Point; father, Francis (Cassandra) Goodtrack, Sr. of Canada; grandmother, Elaine Cantrell of Wolf Point; great aunt, Delphine LeMay of Riverside, MT; uncles, Arnold (Linda) Littlehead of Portland, OR, Gordon (Dynah) Littlehead, Alvin (Sandy) Littlehead, and Curtis Cantrell all of Wolf Point, Billy (Rita) Goodtrack, William (Claudette) Ferguson all of Canada, and Herman Pipe of Poplar; and 29 nieces and nephews.
William is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnold Littlehead, and George and Elizabeth Goodtrack; uncles, Anthony Goodtrack and Lloyd Goodtrack; aunt, Mary Goodtrack; nephew, Jayden Jayce McKenzie; and mother, Evelyn Littlehead.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 26 at the Community Hall in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 27 also at the Community Hall in Wolf Point. As William wished, cremation is to take place following services.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
