William H. Baker

William H. Baker, age 98 of Poplar, Montana passed away at his home on Thursday, April 8, 2010.

William was born December 30, 1911 in Lamar, Colorado the son of James Baker and Rosa Webb. He was the second of seven children.

William moved to Proctor, Montana in 1943 and then to Poplar in 1955.

He married Ruby Storm and to this union came six children: Ellen, Ann, John, Arthur, Laura, and Nancy.

William is survived by his six children, Ellen Hoffman of Park City, MT, Ann Holman of Lander, WY, John Baker of Hemet, CA, Arthur Baker of Poplar, MT, Laura Baker of Boise, ID, and Nancy Devaney of Hingham, MT; one sister, Lily Chapman of Huntington Beach, CA; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Poplar City Cemetery. Rev. Dr. James Isaac will officiate.
