Williamette “Billi Jo” Ogle

September 21, 1968 — June 2, 2017

Williamette Joy (Billi Jo) Red Boy Ogle left this Earth on June 2, 2017 to join her daughter Whitney and her husband Lloyd (Slugger) Ogle in heaven, it was a joyous reunion as she missed them very much.

Billi Jo was born on September 21, 1968 to Alice Elizabeth Red Boy and Justin Francis Hale Sr. Billi Jo and Slugger were married on Dec 8, 1998; they were together for 24 years. To this union Whitney Marie and William Raymond Francis were born. She loved her children with all of her heart. They are her pride and joy, she did all she could for them. Billi Jo wanted to be a school teacher because of her love of kids. She was a queen at rolling dice, loved to tease and score on family and friends, play machines and scratch cards, word find books, and chair dance in her wheelchair to CCR. Her #1 cohort was her cousin Leah Feather. She made a delicious omelet.

She leaves behind her son William, brothers Eugene Hale Sr. and Justin Hale Jr, sister Ronette Red Boy, aunts Merceline (Cubby) Red Boy and Vermae Taylor, uncle Donavon Red Boy, mother-in-law Reba Ogle, in-laws Abby and Andy Ogle, Maizie (Arnold) Youngbird, Mary (Greg) Plante, Judy (Arnold) Ogle, Shari Ogle; nieces Krysta, Wilnelmina, Eden, Avah, Amira, Launa, Markie, Lyssa, and Stephanie; nephews Trenton, Charles, Breon, Allen (A.J), Myron, Robbie, Michael, Jason, John, Aaron, Louis, James, Daniel, Nikolas, Connor, Cameron, and Leslie; grandchildren Elyxis Whitney, Brandon Red Boy Jr, Kadence, Lucian Charlie, Katrina, Caitlyn, Alexis, Christine, Samantha, Jacob, Gary Jr, Preston, Jason Jr, Siouxmani, Raymond Jr. Francesca, Alex, Payton, Julian, Kaycine, Jalyhssa, Mary, Rizzy, Lelon, Aniyah, Louis Jr., Jaslyn, and James baby daughter, Michael Brown children, Myron Olson children, Les Ogle children; greatgrandchildren Aniyah and Kateri.

Billi Jo was preceded in death by her precious daughter Whitney who died June 8, 2003; her husband Slugger who died May 14, 2010; parents Alice and Justin, brothers Baby boy Red Boy, Henry White Owl, Gordon Red Boy, sister Francine Red Boy, father-in law Raymond Ogle Sr., aunts Vera Ironman, Bette Iron Ring, Maryann Greybull, Lorraine Red Boy, Matilda Hale and Lorraine Stormy, uncles Allen Peter, Dwight, Reno, and William Red Boy Meroin Hale Sr. and Aldred Hale, brother-in-law Oscar Ogle, sister-in-law Jewel Ogle, nephews Brandon Red Boy Sr., Raymond Brown Sr., and Alison Red Boy. Extended families include Hales, Red Boys, Smokers, Shields, Johnsons, Spotted Wolves, Birdsbills, and Crowes. We apologize if we have forgot anyone, Billi Jo’s family is very large.

A wake will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Riverside Catholic Cemetery in Riverside. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
