The Lord called Wilmer James Adams home on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Billings Clinic of complications due to diabetes.
James was born on January 30, 1960 to Elmer “Jiggs”and Tessie Adams in Wolf Point.
James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He liked listening to all kinds of music including pow-wow music. James liked to visit, laugh, and tease. He was a giver. Always lending a helping hand and giving what he could to help a friend or family member. Although he didn’t have children he loved children very much. He loved to have them around. He was also an animal lover. Cats were his favorite and he had lots of them.
James is preceded in death by his parents Elmer “Jiggs” and Tessie Adams, a brother Johnny Ray Adams, and a sister Carol Adams.
James is survived by his sisters Norma Dionne and family, Raine Adams, Sharon “Sadie” Hamiltion and family, Crissy Adams and family, and adopted sister Audrey Ghostdog all of Wolf Point; brothers Les Adams and family, Elmer (Zebe) Adams and family, Ron (Nancy) Adams and family. James is also survived by two special relatives: Lisa Adams of Houston, Texas, Charlotte Whiteman of Billings, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
James will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point. Cremation to follow.
